In 1999, Comcation set out to develop advanced e-commerce
functionality applications. Building upon an enterprise level
e-commerce platform used for high-end e-commerce sites, Comcation
created modules that could be integrated with various shopping
cart software including ShopSite. The goal was to build modular
software that could be configured, adapted and customized
to add whatever e-commerce functionality is missing from a

Building upon its in-house expertise in e-commerce software,
in 2001 Comcation purchased ownership rights to high-end e-commerce
software from a failed dot.com software developer. The software,
now called the Comcation Commerce Server, is a Java 2 Enterprise
Edition (J2EE) application. J2EE leverages the power of open
standards to build, expand, and maintain commerce applications
for the full life cycle of the business. The software has
been designed from the ground up to be fully J2EE-compliant,
unlike other commerce servers that attempt to bolt on J2EE

Comcation's state-of-the-art digital media production studio
is located in Bucks County, PA, an area long renown for its
established artist community. Capabilities include web site
design, development and programming of static and dynamic
