What is included in the upgrade?
The setup fee includes setting up a new ShopSite 5.x or 6.x
store, installing all necessary patches, installing and configuring
the customer registration and order tracking modules, downloading
your pages and products databases as well as all of your image
and html files, uploading the databases into your new ShopSite
store and finally regenerating the store. Afterwards, our
ShopSite team will help you configure your computer to see
your new store on our server, while the rest of the world
continues to see your old store. Once you are completely happy
with your new ShopSite store, we "flip a switch"
and your new store becomes live. This method has been used
hundreds of times and guarantees no downtime during the
upgrade process.
How much money will I save?
Our customers using Customer Registration and Order Tracking
usually save the cost of the modules in just a few days. Automating
order tracking requests will allow your employees to focus
on more important tasks and your staffing needs will be reduced.
How do the features of ShopSite Manager, Pro and Enterprise
compare?
Please see this chart
for the details of exactly what features each of the versions
of ShopSite contain and the pricing of the different versions.
Do you design ShopSite stores too?
Yes, in fact one of our designers is the first certified ShopSite
designer. We are able to expertly redesign your ShopSite store
to enhance customer experience and add additional features
like Tell A Friend and Inventory Notification on the shopping
pages.
How long have you been working with ShopSite?
We have been designing and hosting ShopSite stores for over
5 years. During that time ownership of ShopSite went from
iCentral to Open Market and now back to the original developers
of the ShopSite software. We are excited about working with
a company that believes in ShopSite just as much as we do.
How long does it take to setup?
The upgrades can be completed in as little as 24 hours, however
transferring your domain through Network Solutions can take
a little longer. You should allow one week for everything
to be transitioned and your Enterprise Store up and running.
What will change on my site?
The design and setup of your site will not need to change
at all. You may want to add a register/login button to your
site so that visitors can take advantage of your new features.
When a customer buys something from your store, they will
automatically be registered and sent a username and password
that can be used to check the status of their order(s).
Will an Upgrade to ShopSite Enterprise Hosting cause any
downtime?
There will be no downtime. The upgrade process is very
smooth with the new site and your current site coexisting
during a transition period. After your data is migrated to
the new store, and you have had every opportunity to review
and verify that it is working perfectly, the new store go
live.
Do I need to sign a long term contract?
No. All of our accounts are on a quarterly basis. If for any
reason you wish to move elsewhere, you are free to do so.
